Everything is so beautiful and perfect! I could never have found a more perfect gown in a store!
Just wanted you to know we received the items and how pleased we are with everything!
|Because babies and children come in all shapes and sizes and their heads grow rapidly in the first couple of years, our sizing chart is meant to be a guideline only.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR CHILD'S HEAD CIRCUMFERENCE
When ordering hats, we recommend you measure your child's head.
|1. Wrap a tape measure around your child's head just above the eyebrows.|
2. Insert your index finger inside the tape measure (allowing extra room for growth).
3. Read the measurement in inches and compare with the size chart above.
If you are unable to measure your child's head, we recommend that you order a larger size. Your little one will be more comfortable and you will get the most out of your hat.
Also, please keep in mind our baby hats are made from several different crafters. Each one has their own style of stitching, and several types of yarn are used. Because of this, the sizes may vary slightly, as all hats will not be identical. The chart helps to give you a general guideline, but please allow for slight variance.

To crochet is to create fabric from yarn or thread using a crochet hook. The
word crochet is from the Middle French word croc or croche, which
means hook. Crocheting, similar to knitting, consists of pulling loops of yarn
through other loops. Crochet differs from knitting in that only one loop is
active at one time, and that a crochet hook is used instead of knitting needles.
another method to create fabric
from yard or thread, but instead
of a crochet hook, knitting
needs are used. Knitting
consists of loops called
stitches pulled through each
other. The active stitches are
held on the knitting needle
until another loop can be passed
be done by hand or by machine,
although you will only find hand
done knitting here at Lisa's
Handmade Babywear. There are
many methods of knitting that
are done by hand. there is flat
knitting, which can be done on
two straight needles to create a
length of cloth, or there is
circular knitting which is
produced with a circular needle,
creating a seamless tube of
many different types of knitting
yarns and knitting needles,
which achieve different end
products by giving the final
piece a different color,
texture, weight, or integrity.
Using knitting needles of
varying sharpness and thickness
as well as different varieties
of yarn adds to the effect and
creates different results.
Hand Made refers to items that
are made by an individual rather
then mass produced on machines.
